Flowers on your wedding day are super important. A lot of thought goes into just a simple bridal bouquet and our talented florists have years of experience to know how we can make your vision and budget work together.

Events Florist has a team of freelance wedding florists that can service almost any area in Sydney and greater Sydney region. From start to finish we plan your wedding flowers, design, make, deliver, install, and clean up.

For your wedding day we can:

  • Recommend other like-minded wedding vendors (e.g., lighting, entertainment, catering) to make your special day fun smoothly.
  • Provide floral consulting on seasonal and environmental factors that you should be aware of.
  • Design a personalised bridal bouquet based on your choice of colour theme or favourite flowers.
  • Design and make accompanying bridesmaid bouquets that fit in with your vision and budget.
  • Design a personalised boutonniere (buttonhole) for the groom(s).
  • Design and make matching buttonholes and corsages for family members and/or bridal party.
  • Create amazing backdrops, arbours, arches or hanging installations that will give your wedding ceremony and reception wow-factor.
  • Liaise with your venue manager and other wedding suppliers to ensure that nothing goes amiss.
  • Provide additional flowers and foliage for your sign-maker and/or wedding cake maker to use.
  • Pack it all away and dispose of it sustainably at the end (usually at or after midnight).

Wholesale flowers are not cheap. If you haven’t been to Sydney Flower Markets at Flemington, go there one early morning (gates open 5am) and have a gander at how much individual flowers cost.

On top of the wholesale cost are the other costs of doing business (wages, taxes, insurances) and our profit margin.

As a rough indicator, our bridal bouquets start at $250 and accompanying bridesmaid bouquets average around $165 each.

  • Basic buttonholes for groomsmen and family members start from $15 per unit.
  • Small table arrangements start from $60 per unit.
  • Large table arrangements start from $150 per unit.
  • Candelabras start from $110.

The cost of bridal table flowers usually depends on the length of the bridal table, the type of flowers requested and the level of detail required. For example, orchids are notoriously expensive and damage easily so if you want overflowing orchids on your 8 metre long bridal table, be prepared for a premium price tag.

Your choice of flowers and foliage, the season, and the quantity required will play a significant factor in your custom quote. Certain flowers are more expensive than others and this can be due to a number of reasons (demand/supply, logistics).

The majority of Sydney wedding reception venues require that all wedding styling elements are removed from their premises on the same day. This means tearing everything down and bumping out at midnight.

For most reception wedding flower quotes we have already factored in teardown, bump-out and sustainable disposal.

If bump out and disposal is not required, we may be able to revise our quotation.
